“We are cracking the glass ceiling. Look, more women are expected to work today, we need to. But we are achieving more and more success. I think it is more socially acceptable today to care about having a meaningful career and making a contribution,” remarked Dr. Elizabeth LaMotte, an AAMFT Professional Members and licensed marriage and family therapist, during a recent interview about the societal pressures on women.
