Gaining external funding has gained significant importance in both educational and training institutes and direct service provider organizations. This workshop will cover the basics in grant writing process. It will cover topics in identifying funding sources, how to read grant RFP, how to organize the team and writing process, dos and don’ts in writing grant proposals, etc.
Speaker Bio:
Dr. Linna Wang is a core faculty of Couple and Family Therapy Program of Alliant International University. In the past decade, she obtained over $3 million grants to fund in areas of public mental health workforce enhancement, such as MFT educational stipend for MFT graduate students, workforce pipeline projects, and leadership and management trainings to mental health managers.
